No hourly billing, no ranges, no surprises on the invoice. Here is exactly what happens from first call to delivered files.
A short call. What buildings, how many, what file formats your team actually opens, and the deadline you are working to. We ask about complexity — MEP density, occupancy, access, floor count — because those drive the number, and we would rather discuss them now than explain them later.
A fixed quote, in writing, before anything is scheduled. It itemizes base capture, each add-on deliverable, any complexity multiplier, rush if applicable, and mobilization. Scope changes change the number. Nothing else does.
Fifteen minutes of capture per 2,500 sq ft of interior, about thirty minutes on site including walkthrough and handoff. Vertical scans take it to roughly an hour, and a full envelope capture — roof, exterior elevations, attic and ceilings — to about two and a half hours. Tripod-based, non-contact, no crew required from you. We work around occupants, trades and operations.
Drawings, point cloud, plotted sheets and walkthrough in 48–72 hours, sent as files, on AIA standard layers. One round of revisions is included for labeling and annotation. A remap to a custom office layer standard is quoted separately.
Four things, and none of them are hard.
- Access — someone to let us in, or a code. We do not need an escort unless your site requires one.
- A walkable space — broom-clean is plenty. We work around active trades; empty is just faster.
- Your standards — layer conventions, naming, file format preferences. Send them at scope and we build to them from the start.
Aerials are a scoping question, not an assumption.
Drone is available on most projects and adds real value on communities, sites, roofs and anything where the surroundings matter. Two honest constraints worth raising before you build a deliverable around it:
- Airspace. Controlled airspace near an airport requires FAA authorization. We obtain it, but the Phoenix metro is dense with airports and some grids carry a low or zero ceiling that no authorization lifts. Send the address early and we will tell you what altitude is actually available.
- Fit. Aerials are excellent for site context, community layout, roof condition and progress. For a hero image on a resort or a national product campaign, tell us — that is a different standard, and we will scope it accordingly rather than hand you something that does not carry the brand.
Almost always access, not capture. Locked mechanical rooms, a tenant nobody notified, a gate code that changed. Tell us about the awkward parts during scoping and we will plan around them.
